2) Dropping off your sauna at the curb or driveway entrance
a. The trucking company does not unload the sauna
b. Their truck will not reverse into your driveway
c. Delivery often involves an 18-wheel truck
i. Is your neighborhood accessible to large trucks?
3) If the sauna crate is under 92" (7 feet), the truck might have a lift gate to assist with unloading.
4) For crates over 92", no lift gate will be available, and you must plan for unloading.

2) Preparing for the sauna crate to be unloaded
a. Crates range from 6 to 14 feet in length
b. Crates weigh between 800 and 1600 pounds, based on sauna size
The customer is responsible for removing the crate from the truck

i. Using a forklift or similar equipment
Forklifts must lift the crate from the end using extensions.
Hire a tow truck to retrieve the sauna from a local terminal for home delivery.
If the crate arrives damaged, document with photos, note it on the Bill of Lading (BOL), and contact your dealer or Dundalk for assistance.
